Accounting in the building material sector
The task:
In the building material sector, goods delivered to individual customers are charged on a building site basis. Payments on account are made weekly on the basis of current deliveries. The objective is to calculate the items to be charged as quickly as possible and with as little administrative work as possible.
The solution:
A programme was developed under MSAccess with which items to be charged are automatically pooled into invoices. It is possible to print out either collective invoices with more than one building site per invoice or individual, building site related invoices. There is an interface to DATEV, including cost centre administration, as well as a module for the automatic takeover of weighing data.
